Our Ministries Vacation Bible School
About the Ministry
Every summer CCH hosts 4-6 teams of volunteers to put on Vacation Bible School in the 15 villages we serve, and sometimes in a couple others.
We start VBS by playing games, tossing water balloons, throwing Frisbees, and, of course, kicking around soccer balls. Once most of the families in the village have arrived to our location, we gather the children to sing songs, followed by a Bible lesson. After the story, our teams serve a meal to every child and adult in attendance. Depending on availability of funds, we often end the event by handing out ice cream cones and balloons to the kids.
The kids look forward to VBS all year long and we have seen hundreds of children (and their parents) accept Christ at these events.

Why Honduras?
Honduras is one of the poorest countries in Central America, with more than 60% of its population living on less than $3 per day. Beyond this, Honduras currently has the third highest crime rate in entire the world. Statistics aside, however, God has divinely placed our ministry in Honduras, and we feel blessed every day in our opportunity to serve such a loving people group.
