About the Ministry
When CCH was originally founded in 2001, Dr. Floripe Gonzalez opened a small clinic in Taulabe and served as our Head Doctor. About three years later, God led the ministry to purchase land and begin construction of what would eventually be the new clinic.
Currently, our mission operates a full-service medical clinic, featuring a part-time dentist, a part-time gynecologist, a part-time orthopedic specialist, several nurses, and Dr. Floripe as a full-time general practitioner.
We believe the opportunities in medical missions extend far beyond the physical alleviations we’re able to provide. While our clinic is the closest one of its kind for 30+ miles and serves the people in the surrounding villages in ways they’ve never been served before, we see many of these people come to Christ because of the care they receive while at our clinic.

Why Honduras?
Honduras is one of the poorest countries in Central America, with more than 60% of its population living on less than $3 per day. Beyond this, Honduras currently has the third highest crime rate in entire the world. Statistics aside, however, God has divinely placed our ministry in Honduras, and we feel blessed every day in our opportunity to serve such a loving people group.
